So silly me for realizing I didn’t actually put this out in an actual writeup outside of Twitter and IG, but in case you haven't heard, ya homie's officially going to work on their first industry gig! I'm officially going to be starting on a movie at Titmouse as a production assistant. This is something I've wanted for so long, since I was a kid. I've spent most of my life seeing myself as an aspiring artist, and while granted my art chops didn't get me to this point, I've always had a passion for what goes on behind the scenes in animation in hopes of helping out on a production, and I'm happy that this day has finally come.
I consider this to be step 1 in my never ending journey, and I hope that I can use this momentum to get myself into future gigs easily, but one step at a time. I'm gonna end up being around less often (which also means that I still have yet to finish editing an episode of my podcast admittedly), but I hope whenever this project is done that you all enjoy it! For anyone that keeps up with me on YouTube, I still plan on making videos. I just think that it's time to officially consider this channel a hobby and nothing more. Trying to keep up with the algorithm burnt me out and started to make me dislike making videos entirely. I do have the passion for making stuff again, but I need to prioritize my current gig first. I want to talk about a lot of things, but I don't see myself NOT talking about animation. Maybe I could even incorporate more of my art into my channel? Get into streaming? Possibilities are endless at this rate.
